ISKO UK virtual round table - Questions for Knowledge Organization and the information profession

Within its longstanding support to academic and practitioner communities the ISKO UK Chapter regularly adjusts its activities in response to the societal and technological changes affecting the information profession.

We are also committed to the promotion of the fundamentals of Knowledge Organization along with the transfer of the rich body of skills and expertise supporting knowledge discovery in current and future domains of application.

In that spirit, we have put together a discussion panel comprising academics and practitioners who will present their views on topical issues.  So far we have identified discussion points concerning KO competencies, corporate culture in relation to information professionals and Artificial Intelligence, specifically how to introduce it to the KO community. 

We now need to build up an audience and give it the opportunity to put forward other points of discussion. That way we can enrich our understanding of  members' interests and needs, and capture ideas on how to promote Knowledge Organization within the information profession.
